What is HelloSelf Companion?
HelloSelf Companion helps reinforce the therapist's guidance so you can keep applying what you’ve learned in everyday life. You can use it between sessions, and continue using it beyond therapy with a subscription.
 

Is Companion a replacement for therapy?
No. Companion doesn’t replace therapy — it reinforces the work you’ve done in therapy. A therapist stays involved, and you can return to sessions whenever you need.
 

What do I get with a HelloSelf subscription?
Ongoing access to Companion check-ins, progress tracking, reminders, and monthly feedback from a  therapist — helping you stay connected to the  guidance after regular sessions end.
 

How does the therapist  stay involved?
The therapist reviews your progress once a month, looking at your check-ins and overall progress. They’ll share feedback and guidance to help you stay on track — without the need for regular sessions.

 

What if I feel I need a booster session?
You can book discounted booster sessions with a therapist  at any time. Companion subscribers receive 10% off sessions if additional support is needed.
 

How do I access the Companion?

You’ll need the free HelloSelf app to access the Companion, including check-ins, reminders, and progress tracking.

Do my therapy sessions have to be completed by HelloSelf?
No. You can use Companion post-therapy to reinforce your learnings even if your therapy sessions took place elsewhere.
 

When should I sign up?
You can discuss post-therapy subscriptions with a therapist  at any point in your journey, but we recommend revisiting it a few sessions before therapy ends so you can start preparing for the transition.
 

Who are post-therapy subscriptions suitable for?
Subscriptions are usually suitable for people who want to maintain their progress after regular therapy sessions end. Whether it’s right for you should be discussed with a therapist , who can help decide if Companion is clinically appropriate for your next stage.
 

How much does a post-therapy subscription cost?

Your first month is £1, then £40 per month after that. There’s no long-term commitment and you can cancel at any time.

 

Can I pay for my subscription with insurance?
Therapy sessions may be covered by insurance, but Companion subscriptions are currently self-pay only.

 

Can I choose or add to my activities/goals?

Yes you can add activities/goals at any time within the Companion

 

Can I stop an activity if I do not feel it is right for me?

Yes you can end an activity within the Companion

 

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes you can pause or cancel at anytime
