How do I turn on live captioning?

Live captioning is available during sessions so you don't have to worry if you couldn't quite hear something. Live captions are intended to improve accessibility during sessions and so are not saved or available after the session.

If you would like to look back over your session at a later date, you can try enabling Recording or get an automatic written Summary of your session.

 

Enabling live captioning

You can turn on live captions during your session by selecting the three-dot menu > 'Live captions' > selecting 'Turn on captions'.

 

Once you have turned live captioning on, you'll be given to chance to select the language that will be spoken in the call from the dropdown menu, and selecting 'Confirm'.

 

If you would like to change this at any point during the call, you can do this by selecting the three-dot menu > 'Live captions' > 'Caption settings'.

 

Disabling live captioning

You can turn live captions off during your session by selecting the three-dot menu > 'Live captions' > selecting 'Turn off captions'.
