Built with guidance from our expert therapists, our platform integrates tools specifically designed to support achieving the best therapy outcomes. This makes it easier for you to build a psychological toolkit during, between, and after sessions.
Online therapy has been shown to be as effective as face-to-face therapy, and many people prefer it due to its convenience, access to a wider range of specialists, cost savings, and the comfort of doing therapy from home. Our therapists have the same credentials as those offering face-to-face therapy, and you can communicate with your therapist directly through our platform.
After completing a self-referral form or being referred by a partner, our team will reach out to gather more information on how we can best support you. Once we understand your unique circumstances, we will begin the search for the best therapist for you. You will receive suggestions based on your needs, the type of therapy you want, your preferences, and our therapists' availability. If you feel the suggested therapist isn’t the right fit or their available times don’t work for your schedule, let us know and we’ll find an alternative option. We understand that finding the right therapist can be challenging, and we are happy to do the heavy lifting for you!
Once we have matched you with the best therapist for you and your schedule, you will see your scheduled appointment on your HelloSelf account and can start exploring the HelloSelf app. Please see our Preparing for my first session to learn more about your first session.
