How does neurodiversity coaching work?

Getting started
You can access coaching whether or not you have a formal diagnosis. If you are self-funding, you can begin based on your current needs. If your sessions are funded by an insurer a diagnosis may be required depending on your policy, please confirm with your provider.

Tell us what you need
You start by completing an online referral form, sharing your goals, preferences, and the challenges you would like support with.

Find the right coach for you
Based on your responses, we suggest coaches whose experience and approach align with your needs. You can review these options and choose the coach who feels like the best fit. Most members are matched within one week or less, depending on availability. 

Work together in sessions
You will have regular monthly coaching sessions, typically held Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00. In these sessions, you and your coach will build a personalised plan to support your goals.

Stay supported between sessions
Between sessions, the HelloSelf Companion and app help you stay on track. You can reflect on your sessions, practise skills, complete activities, and monitor your progress. 

Build lasting change
You will apply what you learn in everyday life, develop helpful habits, and review progress with your coach to create a structured, ongoing approach to long-term improvement.
