Can I request a specific type of therapy?

Yes, you are very welcome to request a specific type of therapy, such as CBT, DBT etc. 

You can include your preferences when completing your self-referral, and our team will ensure this is noted when matching you with a suitable therapist.

Your preferences can also be discussed in more detail during your first session. The initial session is typically assessment-based, allowing you and your therapist to explore your needs together and agree on the most appropriate therapeutic approach to support you.
