How do you recommend I prepare for my first session?

We recommend taking some time to reflect on your personal treatment goals before your first session. This will allow your therapist to better understand how to support you. You can use your HelloSelf account to list and describe your goals, and then track your progress over time.

Please also complete your HelloSelf profile with your personal details, GP information, and next of kin. These details are key in case of emergency and for billing purposes. If applicable, it is also helpful to share your insurance details and information about any other members of your care team, such as a psychiatrist.

On your account, you will find three core questionnaires: the PHQ-9, the GAD-7, and the CORE-10.
